This agreement sets out the understanding between an independent tutor and TutorVy for receiving and delivering tuition opportunities.

Purpose
This agreement explains the basis on which you, as an independent tutor, register with and receive tuition opportunities through TutorVy, Operated by Logibyte Technologies.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, legally eligible to provide tutoring services, and able to provide accurate qualification and identity information.
Independent Professional Status
You Are Independent
You provide tuition as an independent service provider. TutorVy introduces you to students but does not control how you teach.
No Employment Relationship
Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint-venture or agency relationship between you and TutorVy or Logibyte Technologies.
Tutor Registration
You register by providing your profile details, subjects, classes, availability, location preferences and supporting documents.
Accurate Profile Information
You must ensure your profile is accurate and current and promptly correct any changes to your qualifications, experience or availability.
Qualifications and Supporting Documents
You agree to provide genuine qualification and identity documents for verification. Submitting false or forged documents will result in removal and may be reported.
Profile Review
We carry out a basic review of submitted information. This does not guarantee leads and does not transfer responsibility for your conduct or representations to TutorVy.
No Guarantee of Leads or Income
No Guaranteed Leads
Registration does not guarantee leads, assignments, students or any minimum earnings. Opportunities depend on demand, suitability and availability.
Student Opportunities
We share relevant opportunities based on your profile. Opportunities are offered at our discretion and are not guaranteed.
Acceptance or Rejection of an Opportunity
You may accept or decline any opportunity. Repeatedly accepting and then failing to honour commitments may affect your profile status.
Professional Conduct
You agree to conduct yourself professionally, ethically and respectfully with students, parents and TutorVy staff at all times.
Punctuality and Attendance
You agree to attend scheduled introductions, trials and sessions punctually, and to provide timely notice if you cannot attend.
Communication Standards
You agree to communicate clearly and professionally and to keep parents reasonably informed of a student's progress.
Child Safety
Child Safety Obligations
You must prioritise student safety and well-being at all times, maintain appropriate professional boundaries and never engage in any conduct that endangers or exploits a student.
Professional Boundaries
You must maintain appropriate boundaries with students and parents and avoid any conduct that is inappropriate, discriminatory or exploitative.
Academic Integrity
You must support genuine learning and must not complete examinations, assignments or assessments on a student's behalf in violation of an institution's rules.
Prohibited Conduct
- Misrepresenting qualifications, identity or experience.
- Harassing, abusing or endangering any student, parent or staff member.
- Soliciting payments through unauthorised channels or bypassing TutorVy.
- Sharing confidential student or parent information without authority.
- Any unlawful, unsafe or unethical activity.
Tutor Fee and TutorVy Commission
Fee and any applicable TutorVy commission or Platform Fee for an engagement are communicated and agreed per opportunity before you accept it.
Settlement Terms
Where TutorVy collects payments on your behalf, settlement terms and timelines are communicated separately and applied as agreed.
Taxes
You are responsible for your own tax obligations arising from your tutoring income, including any registration and filing required by law.
Cancellation and Absence
Repeated cancellations, no-shows or unexplained absences may lead to suspension or removal of your profile.
Parent and Student Privacy
You must handle student and parent information confidentially and use it only to provide the agreed tuition, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Confidential Information
You must not disclose or misuse any confidential information about students, parents or TutorVy that you access through the Platform.
Use of Student Contact Information
Student and parent contact information may be used only for arranging and delivering the agreed tuition and not for unrelated marketing or other purposes.
Non-Circumvention
Where TutorVy introduces a student to you, you agree not to bypass TutorVy to avoid applicable fees or commission for that introduction.
Teaching Materials and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your own lawful teaching materials. You must not infringe the intellectual property of others or of TutorVy.
Reviews and Feedback
Parents and students may provide feedback on your tuition. Feedback is used to maintain quality and may influence future opportunities.
Complaints and Investigations
We may investigate complaints and request information from you. You agree to cooperate reasonably with any such investigation.
Profile Suspension
We may suspend or restrict your profile pending investigation of complaints, safety concerns, fraud or breach of this agreement.
Termination
Either party may end this arrangement in accordance with these terms. Obligations relating to confidentiality, non-circumvention, fees due and liability survive termination.
Liability
You are responsible for your own conduct and representations. To the extent permitted by law, TutorVy and Logibyte Technologies are not liable for your acts or omissions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Dwarka, New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Electronic Acceptance
By registering as a tutor or accepting an opportunity, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept this Tutor Agreement electronically.
